Data & Communications

Data and communications are coordinated with the electrical scope because the systems share pathways, containment, comms room power and installation sequencing. Resolving those interfaces together reduces clashes, duplicated work and late changes. Our team delivers structured cabling, fibre, rack builds, carrier pathways and AV pre-wiring across education, healthcare and commercial projects. The team have completed a traineeship in telecommunications and hold a telecommunications supervisor qualification. Cabling is carried out under our ACMA Open Cabling Registration.

What that covers

  • Structured data cabling: Cat6 / Cat6A
  • Fibre & backbone communications cabling
  • Comms rooms, network racks & patching
  • Cabling documentation & as-built records
  • AV cabling & device pre-wiring
  • NBN / Telstra pathways & pit systems
